And We're Back!

Monday, July 27, 2009

We arrived home safely last night.

An awesome time was had by all at Comic Con and now we must return to a world where a Bob's Big Boy jedi knight won't stroll past at any second (Carrie dubbed him Obob-Wan Kenobi).

Ka-Blam is apparently still working on getting "To The Power Against" issue #4 up on our Indy Planet page.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by and chatted or picked up books. Carrie will now retire from Robot Punch drawings until APE in October.

LOLTWITTER

Tuesday, July 21, 2009

Hey, I have a Twitter account.

I might, uh, "tweet" (is that what everyone has decided to go with?) stuff from Comic Con. Sometimes I even take pictures and post them to TwitPic (or Flickr).

You can follow along here: http://twitter.com/stephanielantry.

Ka-Blam got swamped with Comic Con orders so "To The Power Against #4" hasn't made it up on to Indy Planet yet. We'll let you know as soon as it's there.

Here we go, a little map for locating us at the show (Small Press Table N-02):

Conjoined Comics - Small Press Table N-02 at Comic Con 2009

We should be easy to find, if you come in to the hall and then take Aisle 1700 towards the back of the room, you'll run into our row. We'll be near Oni Press (and Sideshow Collectibles if you navigate via cave troll).

Hard at Work

Wednesday, April 29, 2009

Checking in quickly with news from my Mysterious Art Lair (corner of living room).

Issue #4 of To The Power Against is getting quite close to being done. We should have it up for sale on Indy Planet in the next couple of weeks.

As Carrie mentioned, we will once again have a table at Comic Con. We'll be in the Small Press section at table N-2. I'll make one of those handy map things when I have time.

San Diego Comic Con '09

Tuesday, April 21, 2009

Just a quick update:

We've officially got our table at SDCC! Woo hoo. Conjoined Comics rides again. And THIS time, we're gonna have an awesome company banner that won't fall down and kill bystanders. Although that is of course fun in its own way. *ahem*

Also, Stephanie and I are hard at work on the last issues of the first arc of To The Power Against. Lookin' good!

More updates as the Con approaches.

San Diego Comic-Con 2008!

Tuesday, July 22, 2008

Yes, it's that time of year again, when Stephanie and I load up the covered wagon and make the annual pilgrimage to join our brethren at Nerd Mecca. As posted previously, interested parties may find the irascible, indivisible ladies of Conjoined Comics at table P-10 in Small Press.

We'll have To The Power Against and Emogician copies for sale, as well as some previews and other goodies. Come for the comics, stay for the snarky banter.

See you there!

A Bit Of Good News

Tuesday, June 24, 2008

Well, we missed out on what seemed to be an awesome Heroes Con however Carrie and I have just been informed that we will have a table at this year's Comic Con International!

We will be in Small Press at table number P-10.

We'll have To the Power Against issues one, two and (let's cross our fingers) three. There will be buttons and copies of Emogician to be had as well.

Hope to see you there!

A Bit of Bad News

Tuesday, June 17, 2008

Due to a problem with our printers (something about machines breaking down and general anarchy) we won't be able to make the trip out to Heroes Con in North Carolina this weekend. We were really looking forward to it, but we literally have nothing to sell at the moment and do not have the funds to pull off an overnight shipping miracle.

Re-prints of issues #1 and #2 are on their way and issue #3 is coming along nicely. We will, of course, be selling them all here on our site.

Still on the waiting list for a table at Comic Con this year, but we may be able to work something out. In any case we'll be lurking around the show floor.

Conjoined Comics Welcomes You

Tuesday, September 04, 2007

Congratulations, you've reached the official site for Conjoined Comics, made up of writer Carrie Smith and artist Stephanie Lantry.

We've finally gotten a basic site running and will be updating as we have new stuff. That's usually how these things work, anyway.

If you're new, our first book To The Power Against was released at Comic Con International back in July. Surprisingly, people bought it and even came back to say nice things to us. The short summary, according to Carrie, is this:

Catalina Jones is a mild-mannered probabilistic risk assessor for a car manufacturer. Her life is quite normal: her boyfriend is nice, her boss is a jerk, and her job is going nowhere. But suddenly, as the result of a tragic microwave burrito/graviton missile accident, Catalina gains ultimate power over the odds. This power is godlike and terrifyingly unpredictable; she can't turn it off, and she can't control it— yet.

If you missed us at Comic Con and would like to pick up a copy of the book, here are your options:

  1. In the Los Angeles area, the book is sometimes available in stores at Meltdown Comics and House of Secrets.
  2. If you have a PayPal account and are not afraid of the Internet, you can send $5.00 to our account or use our handy purchase page and we'll ship a copy out to your doorstep. Place an order at Indy Planet and they will take good care of you!
  3. If you prefer to meet us in person, you can always pick up a copy at whichever comic convention well be at next. In this case it's Wonder Con in February 2008.

If you've read the book or have any other questions for us, feel free to .
