Just a quick note, we've placed our order for the third issue of To The Power Against and expect to have it in the first half of December. I know, a couple weeks behind schedule, but there was the matter of having funds with which to purchase the books.

We're also working to import the Long Lost List of Comic Con Subscribers into our mailing list system. We had a sheet full of people who signed up at Comic Con, uh... 2007... that got eaten by Carrie's laptop when she made a digital version of the list. It has been unearthed so we can harass people who probably forgot they even wanted to hear from us.

As we mentioned, the third issue of To The Power Against will be going to print soon. We hope to have it on the site by the end of the month (barring extended Thanksgiving-induced stupor).

We will be back in San Francisco in February for Wonder Con (Feb. 27th–Mar. 1st). No idea yet where the table will be but we'll let everyone know when we find out.

Since a few people asked, yes, I will be bringing some original artwork from the first few issues. If there's a particular page you're interested in, send an e-mail and let me know the issue and page number (or a couple lines of dialog or something descriptive) and I'll reserve it. Not sure how pricing will work yet but, uh... I'm certain I'm very reasonable.

We were really looking forward to it, but we literally have nothing to sell at the moment and do not have the funds to pull off an overnight shipping miracle.

Re-prints of issues #1 and #2 are on their way and issue #3 is coming along nicely. We will, of course, be selling them all here on our site.

Still on the waiting list for a table at Comic Con this year, but we may be able to work something out. In any case we'll be lurking around the show floor.

And as a side note, I've been allowed a peek at Stephanie's preliminary pencils for our Conjoined Magnum Opus, "Manchu Park". They are fantastic. If I had to choose one word to sum up her grasp of this material: grace. There's a heck of a lot of research and heavy lifting involved in this almost stupidly suicidal blend of Jane Austen and martial arts, what with the panoply of costumes, weapons, settings, postures, etc., and she renders it all with such wit and smoothness. There was a page of kung-fu-ery in there that literally brought a tear to my eye. Made me realize just what kind of awesomeness lies ahead. "Manchu" officially exists! Yay!

Many of you (ok...Nick) have been wondering what's happening with our Jane Austen kung fu comic, Manchu Park. Well, wonder no longer! It's in the works. As we speak, Stephanie's nimble fingers are flying to and fro in the creation of fabulously high bustlines, pouty poets and swords so sharp they go *shinnnggg!*

Also coming down the pipe: To The Power Against Issue #3. Now, even more statistical analysis in every bite! Ohhh, and the cover art for this issue...I have but one awesome word for you: goggles. *pressing finger to lips*
